Shaam-E- Sufiana in Kupwara

Srinagar, May 12: The residents of Kupwara enjoyed an exhilarating musical extravaganza “Shaam-e-Sufiana” held at Zanj-E-Stan, Chailpatti, Drugmulla. Celebrating the power of Kashmiri music, the event had exhilarating performances by famous Kashmiri singer Waqar Khan, dance performance by Shagufta Group and musical performances by other local talents. The selection of songs ranged from Sufi, Folk, Bollywood numbers, to Patriotic numbers.

Speaking on the occasion, GOC Vajra Division complimented the artists for their wonderful renditions. The GOC also congratulated the musicians for carrying forward the rich heritage of Kashmiri music. The event witnessed extensive audience accolades on every performance by the artists. Local youth turned up in large numbers to be part of the celebrations.
