Ganderbal police solve burglary case, accused held

Ganderbal, May 10: Police in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal solved a burglary case by arresting the accused from whose possession stolen electronic goods have been recovered.

A police spokesperson said that a couple of days ago Police Post Shadipora received a complaint from a Shopkeeper namely Suhail Ahmad Lone of Batwina regarding a burglary incident in his Cosmetics Shop at Ganjipora Batwina village. In this regard police registered an FIR vide number 118/2022 under section 454, 380 IPC and set investigation into motion.

A Police team was constituted under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Ghulam Hassan, headed by DO PP Shadipora Ashaq Hussain.

During the course of the investigation, police team laid a trap and arrested the accused identified as Mushtaq Parray alias Jan Buel of Tulmullah Ganderbal.

During the course of the investigation one HP Laptop, one Charging Cable, one Power Bank, and one Laptop Bag were recovered from the possession of the accused and further investigation is in progress.
