JKBI celebrates World Health Day

New Delhi, April 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Bureau of Information today celebrated World Health Day being observed this year with theme “Our Planet, Our Health which is a call for global attention to keep Humans and the Planet Healthy”.


Deputy Labour Commissioner and Deputy Director Information, Veedushi Kapoor Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, highlighted the importance of the Day especially in present times.
Dr. Rekha Jad, interacted with the officers and officials of JKBI, Resident Commission Office and Treasury. She discussed various health related issues and advised a few tips need to be followed in order to maintain good health and lifestyle.

Later, the participants pledged to work towards improving their health by strictly following a disciplined lifestyle and healthy eating habits.
