4 women among 6 tourists injured as mini-bus turns turtle in Anantnag

Anantnag, April 6 : Six tourists, four of them women, were injured after a mini-bus they were travelling in turned turtle in Srigufwara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.

Officials sources told GNS that a speeding mini bus (JK01L-4443 ) was on way from Pahalgam towards Srinagar when driver lost control over it and turned turtle at Cheeniwader in Srigufwara area.

The injured have been identified as Barat Pinglay son of Dutta Rai, Vineet Pinglay son of Bharat Pinglay, Suneeta wife of Bharat Pinglay, Salochna wife of Khanda Roy, Lata Vodagar wife of P.S Gisay and Sununda wife of Bindha, all from Punai Maharashtra. The Injured were immediately removed to to SDH Bijbehara for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, a case (FIR No 17/22) under section 279, 337and 427 IPC stands registered in police station Srigufwara, they said.
