MSK Anantnag organizes daylong Seminar on Legal Rights of Women

Anantnag, Mar 25: Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) Anantnag in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority Anantnag today organised a one day seminar on Legal Rights of Women at Govt Higher Secondary School Ranibagh, here.

On the occasion, resource persons enlightened the participants about various legal and constitutional rights of women. Speakers also highlighted the role of women for adding prosperity and glory to the nation.

President MC Anantnag, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Secretary DLSA, Mir Wajahat, faculty members from GDC Women and GDC Boys Anantnag and lecturers from GHSS Ranibagh delivered impressive talks on the topic.

The seminar witnessed a vibrant debate on the issues and challenges confronting women and the role of various stakeholders in addressing those. The students and other participants took part in it. Also a question answer session was held on the occasion.

On the sidelines of the seminar a painting and slogan competition was also held wherein the students showcased their talent and put some beautiful shades on the canvas highlighting glory and beauty of the female gender.

The best performers in debate, painting and slogan competitions were awarded with mementos and certificates.

The programme was also attended by officials of MSK and OSC Anantnag, teachers from GHSS Ranibagh, officials from GDC Women and GDC Boys Anantnag and others.
