World Unani Day celebrated at Ganderbal
GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 11: Ayush Department Ganderbal today celebrated 6th world Unani day here at Bamloora Ganderbal during a function where medical and paramedical staff participated.
The function was inaugurated by District Nodal Officer Ayush Ganderbal, Dr.Mushtaq Ahmad Payer and he lime lighted the incredible contribution of Hakeem AJMAL khan, as the day is celebrated in remembrance to Birthday celebration of Hakeem AJMAL khan.
At this occasion many speakers discussed the contribution of Hakeem AJMAL khan in propagation and popularization of Unani medicine at national and international level.
Dr. Syed Riyaz Rizvi,Dr. AabidQadri,Dr. Sabiajan and Dr. SahibaMushtaqalso spoke on the occasion and it was pledged that Ayush Ganderbal will leave no stone unturned for making unanipathy as most popular treatment system in Ganderbal District.
District Nodal Officer appreciated the role of medical and paramedical staff working in far flung areas within Ganderbal district and complemented one medical officer namely DrSaifulAbrarWani from Ganderbalwho isnominated for Hakeem AJMAL Khan Superstar of unani medicine and pharmacy award from all India unaniTabbi Congress. He further said that Ganderbal is the sole district within UT J&K in distribution of immunity boosting medicine which has lead to lowest Covid case detection within Ganderbal district and hence as a realization of dream and mission of Hakeem AJMAL Khan.
He insisted all medical officers to work with added zeal and dedication and contribute in practice of unani medicine at dispensary level.
