Ganderbal Feb.11:- On the directions of District Administration Gbl. a joint team of Food Safety & Consumer Affairs /Public Distribution Department Comprising Mr. Fayaz FSO Kgn & Mr. Javeed TSO kgn along with the Dr. Javeed (VAS) today Conducted extensive Market Checking of main market kangan especially Butcher’s/Chicken dealers & Green Grocers to check the mutton quality, their sanitation & hygiene & also the Govt. approved rates under FSS Act-2006. Also an amount of Rs. 700/= recovered as fine under EC Act. from erring traders.
Moreover, Butchers /Chicken sellers were directed to maintain hygiene/Sanitation & Provide quality of meat to the Consumers mandated as per the Food Safety & Standards Act-2006.
