DC Anantnag interacts with Covid-19 positive patients telephonically

Anantnag, Jan 15: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla today interacted with several Covid-19 positive patients telephonically and inquired about their well being besides availability of COVID kits.

Dr Singla while interacting with the patients asked them to observe home isolation as per Covid-19 SOPs and constantly monitor their vital parameters like Oxygen levels.

The DC was informed that the patients are being contacted by concerned medical teams twice a day and have been briefed about precautions they should take to prevent exposure to family members. He was further informed that the patients have been provided COVID kits and are undertaking home isolation.

The DC directed CMO Anantnag to ensure COVID home isolation patients are regularly contacted by concerned control rooms and ensure that COVID kits are distributed among all reported cases.

The DC also took stock of the working of Panchayat Covid Care Centres (PCCCs). The ACD informed that all CCCs at Panchayat level are functioning and adequate staff has been deployed. The phone numbers of on duty staff have also been widely publicized in the panchayats.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner directed CMO Anantnag to ensure that District and Block level control rooms are up and running 24×7 along with tele-consultation facilities.
