Covid-19 arrangements reviewed at Shopian

Shopian, Jan 12: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani today chaired a meeting to review the Covid-19 arrangements in the district at Mini Secretariat Arhama, here.

During the meeting the ADC took detailed assessment of the preparedness put in place in the hospitals across the district to handle the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The meeting was informed that the district has sufficient supply of Oxygen and stock of beds available for the patients and other necessary equipment.

On the occasion, the ADC issued directions to the health functionaries to ensure strict compliance with Covid Appropriate Behaviour in their respective Health Centres. He also highlighted the need to accelerate the pace of vaccination drives in the district to save precious lives. He also instructed the BMOs and others concerned to prepare an action plan to tackle the present alarming situation of Covid-19 3rd Wave.

Simnani also paid gratitude to doctors, frontline health workers for rendering valuable services and making untiring efforts in the fight against covid.

The meeting was attended by the In-Charge Chief Medical Officer, Dy. Chief Medical Officer, BMOs, Medical Superintendent, DH Shopian, AD Planning, District Immunization Officer, Shopian and other concerned.
