Kishtwar: Pvt Coaching Centres face action for violating Covid guidelines

Kishtwar, Jan 11: District Administration Kishtwar on Tuesday initiated action against Private Coaching centres for flouting Covid guidelines.

The official team conducted surprise inspections of several educational institutions and Tuition centres in the district.

During the inspection, various Coaching Centres were found violating the Covid norms/guidelines issued by the govt.

Acting stringently against the violators, the registration documents of various educational Institutions were seized for violating the guidelines issued by the government.

Pertinent to mention that the government of J&K has recently issued an order asking Colleges, Schools, Polytechnics, ITIs, Coaching Centres for Civil Services/Engineering/NEET etc to suspend physical class work and adopt online medium of teaching.

The DC appealed to the people to follow Covid protocol in letter and spirit. He said as the graph of the virus is going up in the country, people need to be extra cautious to avoid third wave.
