J&K Reports 151 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No New Death

Srinagar, Nov 6 : Jammu and Kashmir reported 151 fresh covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

Among the fresh cases, 16 were reported from Jammu Division and 135 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 332911.

There was no fresh fatality due to the virus during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4440—2177 in Jammu and 2263 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.

Giving district wise details, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 79 cases, Baramulla 14, Budgam 12, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 7, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 9, Ganderbal 10, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 5, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 1, Doda 3, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 3, Ramban 0 and Reasi 4.

Moreover, 69 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 16 from Jammu Division and 53 from Kashmir, they said.

So far 327380 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1091—123 in Jammu and 968 in Kashmir.

They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.

The government also informed that 81729 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K. (GNS)
