REASI, NOVEMBER 06: Assistant Director Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Reasi along with a team of field staff today toured snow bound areas of the district to finalize modalities for   winter stocking of food grains and other essentials.

Technical team of Linkwell, ICDS supervisors, MDM incharge of school education, LPG distributors and the public representatives of the area accompanied the departmental team during the extensive tour of the snow bound areas, including  Gulabgarh  Tukson, Shaldol, Lar, Bransal and Ranglai. The FCS&CA team had a detailed interaction with the locals and PRI members of the area. The AD instructed field staff for rapid response to any SOS call with regard to civil supplies.

Responding to local complaints against Ration Dealers in Tukson, the AD FCS & CA instructed for social audit of the FPS owners in presence of village assembly by the PRI of said Panchayat. He said  if the FPS owners fail to pass the social audit strict disciplinary action will be initiated against them.

The AD FCS&CA assured the public that the government is very much committed to ensure that the   food grains should reach the last beneficiary in an efficient and transparent manner. He said with the implementation of AePDS Adhaar enabled Public distribution system, Supply Chain Management system (SCM) and making data of beneficiaries available to the public like on the official website the department had already moved towards a better system. He cleared many public queries regarding mismatch of the biometrics, area of no network or weak network due to which PoS machine works very slowly, deletion of duplicates from portal, 100% Adhaar linking of ration card, PMUY 2.0 etc.

The AD expressed displeasure over the slow progress in distribution of PMUY 2.0 connections to the deserving beneficiaries for which special camps were organised.
