New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) NIA filed the chargesheet against an operative of the ISIS in the Delhi Amroha module case, the agency said on Wednesday.
The agency filed a supplementary chargesheet before the NIA Special Court against the accused, who was identified as Mohd Shahzad Kamal, under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, said the NIA.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused Mohd Shahzad was allegedly involved in the conspiracy right from the very beginning along with the other co-accused. He was instrumental in arranging and providing funds from Saudi Arabia to finance the terrorist activities of the Harkat-Ul-Harb-E-Islam.
The agency had registered the case on December 20, 2018, against Mohd Mufti Suhail and other members the Harkat-Ul-Harb-E-Islam, an organization affiliated to the proscribed organization ISIS. Earlier chargesheet was filed against ten of the arrested accused in the instant case on June 21, 2019, NIA statement said.
