Bihar: Lalu to address public rallies for by election

Patna, Oct 27 (UNI) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav will campaign and address public rallies in the upcoming by elections being held for the two assembly constituencies in favour of his party candidate, the party said in a statement on Wednesday.

Party sources said here on Wednesday that Mr Yadav will be campaigning at both Kusheshwarsthan and Tarapur assembly constituencies during the day. The sources informed that Mr Yadav’s tour will be a brief one.

Mr Yadav who was behind bars in connection with multi crore rupees fodder scam was unwell and was undergoing treatment in New Delhi. He arrived Patna on Sunday late evening.

Polling for both the seats will be held on October 30 and the counting of votes would take place on November 2.
