DDC Pulwama reviews implementation of District Capex Budget

PULWAMA, OCTOBER 18: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Chowdhary today convened a meeting to review the implementation of District CAPEX Budget of the current financial year at District Administrative Complex, here, today.

Addressing the officers, the DDC stressed upon them to ensure timely completion of all works so that the benefits of development percolate down at the ground level and people can feel the difference. He added that people have pinned hope on the present Government; as such it is the duty of present dispensation to come up on the people’s expectations.

The DDC directed the officers to work in coordinated manner with line departments and work with synergy to achieve development goals well in time keeping in view the limited working season and to cater to the developmental needs of the district with focus on creating tangible assets.

He stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.

He also cautioned that any kind of laxity in completing the works within the fixed time line will not be tolerated at all. He exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery for completing the projects in stipulated time frame besides urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.

During the discourse of the meeting, the engineers of Jal Shakti, Power and R&B briefed the meeting about the achievements of their respective departments.

The DDC was informed about the achievements made under different sectors including PHE, PDD, R&B, Education, Health, MGNREGA, NRLM, Social Welfare, ICDS and other sectors.

Among others the meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Pulwama Dr Sheikh AB Aziz, and all district/sectoral officers.
