J&K Police XI defeated Kashmir Maharaja FC in a tie breaker.

Srinagar,02 Oct:Both the teams started with an aggressive note and tried to dominate, but both found it very difficult to find the net. The first half seemed  to be virtually dominated by Kashmir Maharaja FC.

 

They made certain brilliant moves at the Goal but their attempts were foiled by J&K Police Goalkeeper,  who made some beautiful saves. Ist half score was 0:0. The second half of the match saw beautiful moves from both sides trying to find an opening  but could not break the Ice. The players exhibited tremendous skill, ball control &  man to man marking was the main feature of the game. Both the teams had a tough defence lineup and prevented the forward lines to penetrate.  The spectators enjoyed every movement of the game and appreciated the skill of both the teams. The 2nd half also ended with 0:0 Draw. The match was decided by enforcing tiebreaker rules. J&K Police defeated Kashmir Maharaja FC by 3:1

Sh.Dilbag Singh-IPS, DGP J&K Police who was the Chief Guest on the Occasion & Prof. Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor University of Kashmir was the Guest of Honour, & were introduced to the players.

The Tournament is organized by J&K football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
