Minor Dies, 2 other hospitalized due to suspected Food poisoning in North Kashmiris Langate

Handwara September 28:(KNS) A minor dies and two other admitted in hospital due suspected food poisoning in Prungroo village of North Kashmiris district Kupwara.

An official told to Kashmiri News Service that three minors siblings complained of severe stomach ache, vomiting and diarrhoea late on Monday night, where one of them dies.

The two other have been admitted in hospital are undergoing a treatment now at nearby health centre.

BMO Langate said that, we have constituted a team, who is on spot investigating the matter, he said.
As of now we believe it’s due to food poisoning, however Samples of the food prepared by the family will be collected for examination to ascertain if it contained any poisonous substance, BMO said.

We are requesting people, if they feel ill or vomiting, please report immediately to nearby health centre, he further added.

The desceased minor have been identified as, Mehfooza Daughter of Mohd Akber Lone resident of Mawer bala.
