Soldier Killed In Kupwara

Kupwara, Sep 20 (GNS): An army soldier was killed in Lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday afternoon, official sources said.

They said that the killed soldier was part of a Road Opening Party (ROP) at Lassipora General Road. While official ruled out it as a militant attack, they said confirmation was awaited if it was case fratricidal killing or there were some other reasons for the death. However, they said, there were few shots heard. (GNS)
