Srinagar 18th Sept. In the ongoing ‘A’ Division of DFA Srinagar Annual League Football Tournament 2021 played at Gindun Ground Rajbagh, Srinagar. Ist match was played between Mahjoor United FC & Rising Star Fc. Mehjoor United Fc won 3:0 goals. Yamin scored two goals & Sahil one goal or Mehjoor United FC. In the 2nd Match Sevenstar Football Academy defeated Nadurgund FC by 5:1 goals. Inayat FC & Afree scored two goals each & Shafqat scored one goal for Sevenstar Football Academy & for Nadurgund Fc Mudabar Fc scored solitary goal.
In the Ongoing Super Division League, Two matches were also played today the 18th of Sept 2021 at Synthetic Turf TRC. Ist match was played between Real Kashmir U-18 & Syed Tajuddin FC. As the match started, forwards of both the teams started attacking other’s goalpost to seize an early initiative. Syed Tajuddin FC succeeded in their effort when Shoib scored the first goal for his team in just 10th minute of the play. Leading by a goal, lifted the confidence of the Syed Tajuddin FC and they continued to attack opposite goalpost with higher frequency. The young turks of Real Kashmir U-18 also played marvellous game and tried their best to find an equaliser but failed. The Ist half score was 1:0 in favour of Syed Tajuddin FC. In the 2nd half the attention of Real Kashmir U-18 players was diverted from attack to defence due to the aggressive play by the Syed Tajuddin FC. In 63rd minute of the play, the attacking football paid rich dividends to Syed Tajuddin FC as they doubled their lead. In rest of the minutes, no further goals were scored and the score-line read 2-0 in favour of Syed Tajuddin FC.
In the 2nd Match Court Road FC defeated Galaxy FC by a solitary goal. The match turned out to be a classic as both the teams displayed the skills and cool temperament throughout the 90-minutes of the play. In the first half, both teams attacked each others’ goalpost frequently, but the defence lines withheld the pressure and didn’t allow any goals to be scored. The second half also proved to be mouth watering as no team was ready to give even an inch. In 70th minute of the play, Burhan scored all important goal for Court Road FC. Immediately, the Galaxy Fc players launched several counter attacks, but the goalkeeper of the Court Road FC ensured no damage was done. When the referee blew the final whistle, the score line read 1-0 in favour of the Court Road FC
