Five killed, 3 injured as truck rams into bus on Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Firozabad

Firozabad, Jun 29 (UNI) Five people were killed and three others injured when a mini truck rammed into a parked bus on Agra-Lucknow Expressway near Magla Khangar police station area in the district on Tuesday morning.

Police said that the private double-decker bus was going to Lucknow from Rajasthan when it stopped due to breakdown.

The driver and conductor, along with some other bus passengers, were repairing the damage when the speeding mini-truck crashed into the bus around 0500 hours, killing five people on the spot.

In the accident, bus driver and cleaner were among those who lost their lives.The three injured bus passengers were admitted to the Saifai medical college hospital. The deceased identity was not immediately known.
