SSB man injured in ‘mis-fire’

Srinagar, June 18, KNT: A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) man was injured after his service rifle went off accidentally on Friday.

Official sources said that a bullet pierced into the foot of an SSB man when his service rifle went off accidently. He was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar where his condition is stated to be stable.

Hospital sources said that the SSB man affiliated with 21 Battalion was deployed at Police Station Saddar in Srinagar when the incident occurred. (KNT)
