Mumbai, Jun 10 (UNI) At least 11 people were killed while 7 others were injured after a 3-storey building collapsed in Malvani area of Malad West here late on Wednesday night
According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the incident occurred last night at Malvani Gate no. 8. when a portion of 2nd & 3rd floor of a residential building collapsed on adjacent 1-storey hut.
As per latest report, the rescue operation is being carried out and the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Notably, the city was battered by heavy monsoon rains on Wednesday that could have possibly led to the unfortunate incident.
