DC Gbl inspects arrangements at various CCCs

GANDERBAL, JUNE 04: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna, today visited various 5 bedded Isolation Facility/Covid Care Centers (CCCs) established in the district to take stock of arrangements put in place for inmates.

On the occasion, the DC visited CCCs established at Government High school Theru; MMC watlar, Govt Higher Secondary School Manigam, PHC Manigam, Panchayat Ghar Kijpora, Panchayat Ghar Preng and Panchyat Ghar Ramwari and took stock of all arrangements including, sanitation, electricity, water supply, ventilation, bedding besides other arrangements.

During her visit to Panchayat Gar Ramwari, the DC interacted with patients admitted there and enquired about their health and facilities provided to them.

The DC also interacted with the staff deployed at these centres and asked them to put in best efforts and work round-the-clock to ensure the availability of all the necessary medicare facilities to the inmates and proper operationalization of these centres.

Meanwhile, the DC interacted with local PRIs and asked them to work in tandem with the District Administration and Health Authorities in identifying the asymptomatic persons and those who lack isolation facility at their homes so that they can be shifted and taken care in these centres to curb the spread of virus.

She reiterated that  priority is to protect and save precious lives for which we all have to work with greater responsibility and added dedication.

A strong rapid response mechanism in all Panchayats is laid down in order to deal with the emerging situation arising due to Covid pandemic, she maintained.

During the visit the DC was accompanied by Chief Planning Officer, SDM Kangan, Tehsildars of Lar, Kangan and Gund besides other concerned officials.
