1705 beds kept for Covid patients in J&K Hospitals: Govt

‘1194 beds available in Kashmir hospitals, 511 in Jammu’

Srinagar, Apr 24 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir government Saturdays said that 1705 beds have been specifically kept for the Covid patients in the Covid designated hospitals across the UT.

As per the notification issued by the Deputy Director Planning Health and Medical Education Department, Gahndhi Nagar Hospital Jammu has 90 beds for Covid patients only while as CD Hospital Jammu has 110, MCH complex Gandhi Nagar Hospital Jammu 98, CHC Ramgarah 25, Old hospital Kishtwar 70, SDH Nagri Prole 30, CHC Chenani 80 and AH Ghagwal, Samba 08. “In total, 511 beds are available for Covid patients in various Jammu hospitals,” the notification, a copy of which is available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), reads.

It further states that in Kashmir, 1194 beds are available for Covid patie in the various Covid designated hospitals that include 104 beds at CD hospital Srinagar, 150 at JLNM hospital Srinagar, 50 at Kashmir Nursing Home, 50 at SDH Sopore, 110 at Trauma Hospital Bijbehera, 50 at NTPHC Akhura Mattan, 60 at MCH Kulgam, 40 at NTPHC New Building Pethkod Budgam, 30 at NTPHC New Building Parisabad Budgam, 34 at PHC Chanapora, Budgam., 100 at NTPHC Bandipora (Maternity Centre Sanavani), 80 at CHC Hajin, 30 at CHC Dawar, 56 at Tibiya College Shivath Bandipora, 250 at army hospital JAKLI Rangreth Srinagar.
