Burglars loot 9 shops in Central Kashmir’s Kangan

Kangan, April 9, KNT: The burglars on Thursday night looted nine shops in Central Kashmir’s Kangan town of Ganderbal district.

The shopkeepers told Kashmir News Trust that thieves decamped with goods worth lakhs of rupees besides cash from the nine shops in main town Kangan.

The frequent burglaries have triggered panic among shopkeepers in the town.

Pertinently on 24 March burglars stole two Alto vehicles from Kullan and Gagangeer areas of the same town.

The shops which have been looted are mostly provisional stores besides a medical store and a mobile accessory shop.

Meanwhile police called the Forensic team to collect finger prints and evidences. (KNT)
