Tral Gunfight: One more Militant killed, toll 2; Operation on

Tral, Apr 09 (KNO): One more unidentified militant have been killed in an ongoing encounter that raged between government forces and militants at Nowbugh area if Tral in South Kashmir’s PD Awantipora, on Friday morning.

A senior police officer told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that another unidentified militant has been killed taking the toll of killed militants to two.

Earlier the joint team of police and Army’s 42 RR launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Nowbugh area of Tral.

“The militants hiding there fired upon forces, triggering the gunfight,” an official said.

This is the second gunfight going on presently in South Kashmir .
