COVID-19 : 03 teachers test positive in Sopore

Sopore, April 03 (GNS) : After other districts now three teachers have tested positive for COVID-19 in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday.

An official told Global News Service (GNS) that three teachers have tested positive for covid-19 at Girls Higher Secondary School Sopore on Saturday.

While confirming to GNS Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore Parvaiz Sajad Ganai that we are mulling to shut down the institution for some days as a precautionary measures.

He said deputy commissioner Baramulla has also been informed about the issue.

Authorities on Friday announced the closure of three educational institutions in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district for the period of three days as a precautionary measure in the wake of the Covid-19 positive contacts.

Pertinently, Amid rising number of covid-19 cases lately, the government on Friday said that deputy Commissioners (DMs) shall take call on keeping open or closing the schools in respective districts in Jammu and Kashmir.(GNS)
