New Delhi, Mar 24 : The proceedings of the Rajya Sabha were adjourned for an hour after paying tribute to the sitting Member AIADMK Member A Mohammedjan.
As the House assembled at 1000 hrs, Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu informed about the passing away of AIADMK lawmaker A Mohammedjan who died of heart attack on Tuesday in Walajapet hospital at Ranipet in Chennai.
The House observed a minute’s silence to pay respect to the departed Member and adjourned the proceedings till 1103 hrs.
