New Delhi, Mar 23 ; Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday paid homage to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their 90th anniversary of martyrdom.
As the House assembled at 1100 hrs, Mr Naidu said that the great freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev had sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country on this day.
“The trio has become household names for valour and patriotism and they are an inspiration for the entire nation”, he said.
All Members of the House stood in silence as a mark of respect for them.
