18 travellers among 79 fresh cases, one corona death reported in J&K

Srinagar, Mar 6 : Eighteen travellers were among 79 new covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir even as one person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

18 of the cases were from Jammu Division and 61 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 126932.

Moreover, they said, 87 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—11 from Jammu Division and 76 from Kashmir Valley. The victim belonged to Jammu Division and the death took to 1961— 1234 in Kashmir and 727 in Jammu.

Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 35 cases, Baramulla 9, Budgam 4, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 0, Shopian 1, Jammu 16, Udhampur 0,
Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
