Abortive Grenade Bid in Kupwara

Srinagar, March 05 : Suspected militants on Friday morning lobbed a grenade on a security forces near Bus stand in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

A police official told GNS that suspected militants hurled a grenade at a QRT vehicle near Bus stand.

However, as per the official, the grenad didn’t explode as such no damage to life or property has been reported.

Meanwhile the area has been cordoned off to nab the assailants, the official added. (GNS)
