29 travellers among 85 fresh covid-19 cases in J&K

Srinagar, Mar 2 : Twenty-nine travellers were among 85 fresh novel coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Tuesday. There was no death reported due to the virus during the time, they said.

Regarding the fresh cases, the officials told GNS that 12 were from Jammu Division and bulk, 73 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total number of cases to 126589.

Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 48 cases, Baramulla 5, Budgam 7, Pulwama 6, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 3, Shopian 0, Jammu 10, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

Moreover, they said, 94 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—25 from Jammu Division and 69 from Kashmir.

Out of total 126589 cases, they said, 820 are active cases— 185 in Jammu division and 635 in the Valley. 123811 people have recovered while 1958 have died—725 in Jammu and 1233 in Kashmir.
