Husband, Wife injured in leopard attack In Handwara

Srinagar, Feb 15: A man and his wife were injured after a leopard attacked them in the Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.

Reports reaching GNS said panic gripped Waderbala village of Zacheldara Rajwar in Handwara after a leopard appeared and attacked the husband-wife duo. Both, Abdul Rashid Mir and his wife Raja Begum, were shifted to district hospital Handwara, they said.

A wildlife officer also confirmed to GNS this incident and said that men are at work to trap the leopard.(GNS)
