Thunderstorm with gusty winds likely in North Coastal AP, Telangana : Met

Hyderabad, Mar 19 : Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds (30-40 kmph) and lightning is likely to occur at isolated Places in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh from Thursday till March 22, Meteorological Centre said.
In a bulletin here, it said thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the same period.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam while mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Ryalaseema till March 24.
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam while dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 39.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh and 38 degrees Celsius at Bhadrachalam in Telangana, the bulletin added.
