18 Year Old Boy Crushed To Death By Passenger Bus In Model Town Sopore

Srinagar, Mar 11 (CNS): An eighteen year old scooter borne youth lost his life in a tragic accident in Sopore town of Baramulla district, when he was crushed by a passenger vehicle on Wednesday.

According to CNS a scooter rider, identified as 18 year old Rizwan Ahmed Dar S/O Farooq Ahmed Dar and resident of Muslimpeer Sopore in Baramulla district, was first hit and then run over by a passenger bus near Model Town area of Sopore on Wednesday, resulting in his on the spot death.
Soon after the accident, he was taken to the Sopore hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites, officials said.

The deceased boy is said to be an orphan as his father Farooq Ahmed Dar is already dead.

The bus was seized by the police and the driver was arrested and a case under relevant sections of murder through reckless driving and negligence was registered against him in Police Station Sopore. (CNS)
