Ganderbal, Dec 23: A day long workshop was organized on Jal Jeevan Mission by Rural Water Supply Division under the Chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner, who is also Chairman of District Water Sanitation Mission, here today.
Among others, ADC Ganderbal Farooq Ahmad Baba, Superintending Engineer, Hydraulic Circle Srinagar and Ganderbal besides other concerned were present on the occasion.
The workshop was organised to sanitize the Rural Water Supply Division (RWSD) staff regarding providing drinking water to 16652 Consumers of all the Seven blocks of the district.
One the occasion, the DDC asked the concerned to achieve the target of registering 16652 unconnected house hold water connections in all the seven blocks by March-2020.
Executive Engineer, RWSD Ganderbal presented a Power Point Presentation highlighting the importance of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
