Eight killed as pick-up van collides with truck in UP

Sambhal, :  Eight people were killed while 10 others injured when a pick-up van collided with a truck on Moradabad-Agra highway early Wednesday.
Police here said that people were returning from a pre-marriage function in Badaun when their pick-up van collided with the truck near Laharvan village at around 0130 hrs.
Both the vehicles overturned after the accident. Seven people, including two children, died on the spot while one succumbed to his injury at the hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Pawan Pal ( 8), Brajesh ( 10), Horilal ( 65), Ram Kumar (60), Harishanker ( 55), Ramveer (50), Dinesh Sharma (40) and Sher Singh( 38).
Of the injured, condition of four was stated to be critical.
