Amit Shah leads charge in BJP’s joyous mood after India defeats Pak in cricket

New Delhi, :  The BJP leaders have linked the Indian cricket team’s win against Pakistan in the World Cup tournament to the recent Balakot aerial strike with many rejoicing the splendid victory as a moment of pride for the country.
The celebratory moment was kickstarted by none other than the BJP chief and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
“Another strike on Pakistan by TeamIndia and the result is same. Congratulations to the entire team for this superb performance,” tweeted Mr Shah shortly after Virat Kohli’s team sealed the convincing victory.
“Every Indian is feeling proud and celebrating this impressive win,” he wrote.
Among others senior party leader Sushma Swaraj tweeted: “Congratulations to Team India on a splendid victory”.
BJP general secretary P Murlidhar Rao also took to the micro blogging site and wrote: “Congratulations Indian Cricket Team on an emphatic win over Pakistan! This win further improves the Indian record of not losing any match with pakistan in world cup. Pakistan will take time to forget this humilating loss.”
The BJP Karnataka in its missive took a potshot at Pakistan and tweeted: “Dear Pakistan, How is the ‘josh’ ?
– Pakistan (responds): I am not supposed to tell you that…Abhinandan #TeamIndia”.
It may be mentioned after Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan was captured by Pakistani forces in February, he had also remarked “I am not supposed to tell you that…” to a question by his interrogator which city he hailed from.
BJP leader and Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his message wrote: “Fifteen boys give a brilliant Fathers Day 2019 gift to their fathers by winning the CWC match against Pakistan at Manchester on Sunday. Congratulations V Kohli and Team”.
