burst at around 0430 hrs. The alert driver managed to bring the bus to a halt and the
passengers alighted from it and were crossing the highway.
Another STC bus was coming behind it. It’s driver noticed it and applied sudden brakes
to avoid hitting the first bus.
A speeding truck which was tailing the second bus crashed into it and hit the passengers
crossing the road, killing three of them on the spot.
