Life remain affected in parts of Anantnag due to strike

Srinagar,  :  Life remained affected for the second day on Friday due to strike in parts of Anantnag, where two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) were killed by security forces in an encounter at Bijbehara in south Kashmir.
Shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads in parts of Anantnag, including Bijbehara.
Educational institutions and tuition and coaching centres also remained closed. Work in government offices was affected.
However, situation elsewhere in the south Kashmir was normal with business and other activities going on normally and traffic plying on all routes.
