Poverty in India will go with Congress exit, says Modi

Meerut, Mar 28 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said poverty in India will go wityh the exit of the Congress party.
Launching the poll campaign here, the Prime Minister said the poor have taken a resolve to remove the Congress. “Poverty will be eradicated once the Congress is wiped out,” he added.
Mr Modi said that the Congress has a long history of betraying the farmers and they were responsible for the toppling of the Choudhury Charan Singh government at the Centre.
PM said that Congress has always given slogans to erdicate poor. “When I was a child, I heard about Indira ji’s garibi hatao slogans. But the Congress betrayed the poor,” he said.
