Currently, it is continuously snowing at most parts of kashmir, Pirpanjal, hilly areas of Jammu and some parts of Ladakh( Kargil, Drass, Zanskar & some area of Leh dist.). As expected many places of Jamu, Kashmir & Ladakh( especially Kargil dist.) received heavy to very heavy snow resulting in disruption of surface and Air Transport. We are expecting gradual decrease in snowfall from this evening.
Forecast: Significant improvement in weather from tomorrow forenoon from Kashmir, afternoon from Jammu & Ladakh region.
Outlook for subsequent 5 days: As of now, looks like light rain/snow likely on 13th.(MET Dept)
