DLRC meet held at Kulgam

KULGAM, The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today chaired District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting here to review the performance of Banks and line depts. during Current Financial Year (CFY), up to December 31, 2020 under Annual Credit Plan and other Govt schemes.

During the meeting, LDM, G R Mir revealed that deposits of Banks stand at Rs 2026.26 Crores as on 31.12.2021 witnessing a growth of 13.42 percent over March 2020, and 18.90 percent Year on Year (YOY) basis.

He said Advances stand at Rs.1529.84 Cr as on 31.12.2021 witnessing growth of 13.60 percent over March 2020 and 18.14 percent YOY basis. The Credit Deposit Ratio is 75.50 percent which is quite above the National Benchmark of 60 percent.

He informed that Under District Annual Credit Plan for 2020-21 of Rs.1464.40 Cr Banks have disbursed Rs.686.31 Cr to 33529 beneficiaries during CFY upto 31.12.2020 thus achieving 47 percent of ACP target despite Pandemic restrictions.

DDC while reviewing sector wise achievement directed banks to improve credit dispensations in Agriculture, MSME and housing and education sectors. He also directed Agriculture/Horticulture departments to sponsor cases properly and aggressively under KCC and ensure cent percent farmers are covered earnestly.

It was given out in the meeting that achievement under Priority Sector is Rs. 543.33Cr (40 percent) of ACP and under Non-priority sector Rs. 142.99Cr total 143 percent of ACP, under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan 14522 cases under KCC crop and 5701 cases under KCC and other sectors have been sanctioned during this year.

DDC stressed for proper & timely implementation of Govt Schemes PMEGP, REGP, PM SVNidhi, NRLM and NULM to generate self-employment opportunities in the district.

DDC strongly directed bank authorities for speedy disposal of cases. He impressed upon the concerned to cover all eligible persons under PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY like National Security Schemes.

Among others, the meeting was attended by JD-Planning, Lead District Manager and District officers of line departments, District Coordinators of Banks and others concerned.
