Dr Samoon reviews updation of departmental website

Jammu : Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department, Dr Asgar Hasan Samoon, today chaired a meeting to review up-dation of departmental website of Skill Department, ITIs and Polytechnics.

The meeting was attended by Director Skill Development Department, Sajad Hussain Ganai; Director Finance (SDD); Additional Secretary SDD; Joint Director Planning; representative of NIC & IT department and other concerned officials of the department.

The meeting reviewed in detail report of functioning and up-dation of websites and measure taken to   give better result for  the youth  of Jammu and Kashmir.

Principal Secretary  asked the concerned  authorities to prepare a roadmap to bring in qualitative improvement in the overall functioning of the Departmental website  besides upgradation of infrastructural facilities and various academic and new add on programmes on varied subjects with special focus on most recent advancements.

Principal Secretary said that the Skill Development Department has   to provide knowledge about new courses run by   skill development for youth to choose their career and better livelihood. He directed the concerned officers to work with utmost dedication to ensure empowerment of youth by way of imparting requisite proficiency.

It was also informed that Director SDD will provide all information for updation in hard and soft copies which will be submitted to administrative department by February 15 2021 and all websites hyperlink with administrative department including websites of Mission Directorate, J&K SDM; Secretary, BOTE; Director General Training and AICTE.
