Kabra Takes Over Kotwal in Minor Re-shuffle in J&K Administration

Srinagar/Jammu, Nov 5 (GNS): Lieutenant-Governer led Jammu and Kashmir dispensation has forced a minor re-shuffle in the administration as Shaleen Kabra has been handed over the charges earlier held by Dr. Pawan Kotwal.

An order in this regard, of which a copy lies with GNS, reads that “In the interest of administration, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS (JK:1994), Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, holding additional charge of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K and Inspector General of Registration J&K, is posted as Inspector General of Registration, J&K.”

The order further reads that “Shaleen Kabra, IAS (JK:1992), Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, shall hold the charge of Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department and Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”

A communique, as suggested by the order copy, has been forwarded to all relevant departments. (GNS)
