Militant of TRF arrested in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 27 (Security forces in a joint operation arrested a militant of The Resistance Front (TRF) in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, a police spokesman said on Sunday.

He said troops of 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF conducted a joint search operation at Kapran in Anantnag.

During the operation security forces arrested a militant of TRF Talib Bhat, a resident o Dehruna, he said one pistol with magazine and a hand grenade were recovered from his possession.

Bhat was recruited by TRF commander Abbas Sheikh, a resident of Kulgam, he said adding he had announced his joining TRF on video.
