District Admn is committed to holistic development of district: DDC inspects work progress on Dak Banglow Fathepora

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 03: District Development
Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today said that District
Administration is committed to holistic and equitable development of all
blocks in the district.
He said this during his visit to Dak Banglow, Fathepora where he
inspected the ongoing developmental works being executed by the R&B
department. All executing agencies are directed to expedite the
developmental works in the district prioritizing all such works which are of
public importance, he added.
Pertinently, to achieve the targets, District Administration has given
slew of directions to the executing agencies to go for new techniques,
innovative works and for inclusion of new activities and capacity building of
the people to enhance the sources of livelihood generation and to meet the
purpose of the respective departments.
On the occasion, the Executive Engineer briefed the DDC about the
physical and financial achievements on the project. He informed that the
project is approved at the cost of Rs. 4.97 crore under languishing scheme.
While briefing on physical achievement, the Executive Engineer
informed that main building is completed and compound walling is under
progress besides macadamization of parking area is also started.
DDC took round of the main building and inspected the ongoing
works and exhorted upon the Executive Engineer to expedite the work
progress so that project is completed within stipulated time frame without
compromising the quality of work.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Executive
Engineer R&B and other concerned accompanied the DDC.
