Notification for 6th phase of Lok Sabha election to eight seats in Bihar issued

Patna, Apr 16 :  The process of filing nominations for the 6th phase of Lok Sabha election in eight out of 40 seats in Bihar, scheduled on May 12, commenced in Bihar with the issuance of notification today.
State Election Office sources said that the election would be held in eight constituencies of Valmikinagar, Paschim Champaran, Purvi Champaran, Sheohar, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Siwan and Maharajganj.
The last date for filing of nominations is April 23 while scrutiny of nominations will be held on April 24.
The last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 26.
The counting of votes will be done on May 23.
