5.0-magnitude quake strikes China’s Qinghai Province

Beijing, Mar 28 :  A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the Mangya City of northwest China’s Qinghai Province at 0536 hrs on Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 9 km, was monitored at 38.28 degrees north latitude and 90.89 degrees east longitude, Global Times reported.
Strong tremors were also felt in adjoining areas .
There were no reports of any damage or injuries so far.
