DC Ganderbal inspects functioning of Degree College

Ganderbal: FEBRUARY 23: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today took surprise visit of the Degree College Ganderbal and took stock of its functioning.

During visit, the DC visited several classrooms and took feedback about the ongoing physical classes. He also interacted with the students and urged them to attend their classes regularly and shared valuable suggestions regarding exceling in life with the students.

The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the teaching facility and stressed upon them to ensure smooth and hassle free continuation of classwork.

Meanwhile, the DC also checked the attendance of the teaching/non-teaching staff and took a strong note against the absent employees and directed the Principal Degree College to initiate action as per law against the unauthorized absent employee and send report to the DC Office at an earliest.

The DC also urged upon sanitation in and around the college, proper lighting in class rooms and cautioned everyone to follow all the safety covidmeasures properly.
